Continuing our collaboration with The Metropolitan Opera, the Arizona Opera Film Festival is returning this September 2021. Screenings of three wonderful operas from the Met’s international Live in HD series including, Philip Glass’s Akhnaten, Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, and Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, will take place at the Arizona Opera Center from September 24-25 in the Roma and Raymond Wittcoff Black Box Theater. These screenings will have limited seating capacity and social distancing precautions will be observed.
Safety Requirements
Due to the current prevalence of COVID-19 and the Delta variant, Arizona Opera requires all Film Festival attendees to provide a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the screening date. Attendees providing Arizona Opera with proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will be granted an exception to this requirement. Masks will be required for all attendees.
