Description

Join the Marlu Allan and Scott Stallard Costume Shop in our second masterclass of the season: Intro to Two-Part Resin. In this 3-hour class, Kathleen Trott, Arizona Opera’s Costume Shop Manager, will lead attendees through the process of using two-part resin to make some jewelry and to create a hard finish over art projects.

Most needed materials are covered in the class fee. Please note this masterclass will be held virtually. Once you secure your spot by purchasing below, you will receive a Zoom link via email 24 hours prior to the event. This project will produce some fumes and be messy, so please choose a WELL ventilated and safe for mess crafting area.

Supplies Provided:

• 4 Part 1 resin
• 4 Part 2 resin
• 2 glitter packages
• 2 pigment packages
• 3- 8 oz disposable measuring cups
• 2 stir sticks
• 1 pair of latex-free gloves
• 1 pendant mold
• 1 brooch mold
• 1 keychain mold and tassel
• 1 wood coaster
• 1 pin back
• 1 necklace chain
• 4 cork backs
• 2 pipettes
• 2- 4 oz containers for resin liquids
• 1 sand paper
• 1 foam brush
• 4- 5g containers for pigments
• 1 super glue
• 1 wooden scoop
• 5 pressed flowers

Supplies Needed Not Provided in Kit:

• Iron/hair dryer
• Paper Towels
• Trash bag (to cover work surface)
• WELL ventilated work area

Additional Notes:

Please choose below if you would like to pick up your kit at the Arizona Opera Center (1636 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004) or have it shipped to you.

Shipping: Orders must be placed by December 11, 2020 in order to be shipped in time for the masterclass. The cost of shipping has already been calculated in the price below. You will not be charged an additional shipping fee.
Pick Up: Orders must be picked up from the Arizona Opera Center by December 16, 2020.
