Fabric Painting a Tote Bag- FOR KIDS!

Description

In this 2-hour VIRTUAL class, Shelby Joiner (Arizona Opera’s Painter/Dyer) will lead attendees through the process of hand painting and then spraying a tote bag to create a fun watercolor technique. Most needed materials are covered in the class fee. Materials will be mailed to attendee or can be picked up at the Arizona Opera Center (1636 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004). Please denote the age group of the attendee. 5-7 years OR 8 years and up. 

Be sure you wear paint friendly clothes and work in an area that can get messy.

Supplies Provided:

• 2 stencils
• red dyna flow - 10 ml
• blue dyna flow - 10 ml
• white dyna flow - 10 ml
• yellow dyna flow - 10 ml
• detergent - 1 each
• pipette - 2 each
• paint brush - 1 each
• paint pallet - 1 each
• tote bag - 1 each
• permanent marker - 1 each
• spray bottle - 1 each

NOT provided supplies:

• iron
• plastic board to separate tote layers
• pencil
• towel for pressing

Please Note: If you would like your kit to be shipped to you, orders must be placed by July 16, 2021. If you are picking up your kit from the Arizona Opera Center, your order must be placed by July 21, 2021.
